Sheplegh Court is at its most beautiful in the spring, with azaleas rhododendrons and maples in the grounds, and bluebells and wild garlic flowers in the woods - all looking their absolute best. On warm days, it’s lovely to sit in the courtyard and have breakfast in the sun.
Afternoons are perfect for picnics and trips to the beach. Along the way you’ll meet newborn lambs in the farms around Blackawton and encounter all kinds of wildlife in the surrounding woods. Or you could head to one of the postcard-pretty towns which dot the Devon coast, like Dartmouth, Kingsbridge or Salcombe. All before the summer crowds descend.
